Worn Out

The boys were so worn out the other day!  They tried their best to wait on their daddy for dinner but they could not.  I just love how they fell asleep.....Matt is standing sound asleep!  So sweet

We Are Ready For this..........

THE BEACH

In just 2 1/2 short weeks, we will be headed to sunny Florida!!!  I can just feel the sand between my toes, the sounds of the ocean, the cool ocean breeze and the seafood!  Okay, I am about to explode and I think our kiddos are too!  I am usually excited about our annual trip but I am especially this year because of all the snow we've had.  The snow was beautiful but I am so ready for warmer weather!!

Skater Girl

Sydney has decided to take up skating!  I thinks she looks so cute in her skates.  I just adore these skates too! I think they are so cute! I can remember many,many skate parties I attended growing up!  I always loved to skate! I am so excited Sydney wants to learn! 

Riding the Storm Out

I thought this pic of the boys was so cute!  I love that they always want to be prepared!!  We had incredible storms last night!  I have never seen such powerful wind, heavy rain and intense lightening as I did last night.  It was gone as fast as it came.  I was looking out the window when the rain started and with one HUGE gust of wind and one POWERFUL bolt of lightening our power went out.  Luckily, it came right back on which usually never happens.  As I looked at the sky when the lightening came, the sky (I will never forget) was BRIGHT green......SCARY!!!  Then it was over!  The kids were a little scared but they had us and their flashlights so they were fine!  After the storm passed, we noticed A LOT of cars in our driveway.  So, James drove up there and sure enough there was HUGE tree down across the road.  So, he drove back and got in the Bobcat.  He quickly broke apart the tree and hauled it off the road.  There were maybe 50 cars waiting patiently.  They were very grateful and I am so proud of him! What a night everyone had!!  I am so glad everyone is safe!

Spring Fever

I love all things winter.....the clothes, the cool air, the snow!  However, I DO NOT like the sicknesses that come with winter.  I have to say we are ready for SPRING!!!  Today the boys are down with what seems to be the Flu.  They are so pitiful just lying around.  This is NOT like them at all.  This bug hit them hard and fast!  We are praying for a quick recovery for them as well as good health for the rest of the family.  Hurry Up Spring!!!!  We welcome you with open arms!!

Valentine's Day

Yesterday was Valentines Day and the kids wanted to do something special for the grandma's!  So, I took the kids to the store and they picked out flowers, cards and chocolate!  The flowers were very beautiful!  The kids did such a great job!  James and I celebrated a few nights before with a wonderful dinner at Chappy's! It was wonderful!! Thank you Mim and Grandma for everything!  We LOVE you!

These boys were perfectly happy prancing around the house with bows and headbands in their hair!  These poor guys will do ANYTHING their sister tells them to do!  They love her so much!
