Learning to Play........

Matthew has for a long time now been wanting to learn how to play the guitar. So today actually, he went over to my guitar and picked it up. He said "Come on mom, let's play"! Okay! He loved every minute of his lesson with me. We are of course just starting with the basics of how to hold it properly but he loved it! At the end, I just let him strum away ;)

 

 

 

 

 

 

We Are Ready........

to TRAVEL and CAMP!!!

 

Here is our first travel trailer or camper if you will! We are so excited and we can't wait to get out on the open road and see where she takes us!!  I know some little people who are so very excited and are already begging us to sleep out there :) 

Field Trip to the WWII Ship

I took the kids downtown to tour a WWII ship that was docked at Riverfront Park! They loved it including myself! We saw lots of neat things and learned a ton! The kids did excellent and asked a million questions and even spoke with some of the men that ran the ship. What a fun field trip!

Fall Creek Falls

Bri and I along with friends ventured out to Fall Creek Falls! What a great time we had camping and hiking! We ate yummy food by the camp fire and enjoyed each others company! The scenery there is beautiful and the hiking is great! We will definitely be going back!

Early Fall Photoshoot

I decided to take some early fall pics of the kids because I just can't wait for fall and I haven't taken any in a while!!!  So, we were having a beautiful afternoon and the kids were in decent moods so I said why not? We ended up having a lot of fun with a lot of silly moments! Big Boy Bed

Someone got a big boy bed.....Finally! Someone is very proud of his big boy bed! We toyed with getting bunk beds but Matty wanted one just like his big brother. We are glad because we know they will use their twin beds a lot longer than bunks so we are happy too! Yay for Matty.....no more baby crib! I can't believe it! There has been a crib up in our house for nearly 10 years. Wow!

Future Gymnast?

I found Matty like this the other day........doing a headstand (complete with a pair of purple sunglasses)! So funny!!
