Go William Go

William achieve a major accomplishment he has been working towards for a year now!  He hit his very first HOME RUN!!! This was not just a little home run either! There were no errors made by the other team to contribute to it either! He just SMACKED the guts out of the ball clear to the fence.  We were all jumping and cheering for him! Oh I was so incredibly proud of him!! "All of those days of practice in the back yard have finally paid off", he said!!  He also made some terrific plays out on the field as well which earned him the Game Ball too!!  We are so proud of him and we LOVE you so much William!!!

Happy 5th Birthday to Matthew

Well, my baby is 5 now!!!!! I can not believe it!! Time is just flying by and we are trying to soak up as much time with our babies as we can!  Matthew had a great birthday celebration with friends and family and finished up the day with a baseball game!  What a busy weekend it was but we had a blast!

Matthew LOVED it! He has always said that he wants to be a fireman! It melts my heart to see my children light up and get to do what they love!! What JOY!!

Discoveries

We have been outside a lot since the weather has been so nice and the kids have made a lot of discoveries!  They made a new friend and found a secret hideout ;)  They love having science class outside since the weather is wonderful! There is so much to discover :)

Easter 2013

We had such a blessed Resurrection Sunday!  We celebrated with family and friends and enjoyed fun easter egg hunts. However, it was a bit chilly and very rainy.  We still had such a great day!

First Baseball Game 2013

At the end of March, the boys had their first baseball game!  This was Matthew's very first ever baseball game and boy was he excited!!  William was a pro about it since this was his second year ;)  I just love watching them play! I get so much joy from watching the kids doing what they love!  The boys team did so well and ended up winning their first! We are all so proud of them!  Go Cardinals!!

Hard Worker

One day a few weeks ago, we had severe winds roll through our neck of the woods and a few trees were down as a result.  Well, William of course was chopping at the bit to get out there and survey the damage.  I happened to look outside and saw this............

He worked for several hours out there!  I just love his little servant heart! He is always willing to give a hand no matter how big the job.  Love this sweet boy!

Hiking Buddies

I took the kids hiking with me a few weeks ago!  They have become my little hiking buddies and I LOVE it!  We have so much fun together enjoying nature and all the many discoveries that come our way!
