County Fair

We headed out to the Wilson County Fair last night to hear our #1 girl sing in the talent show and to have some fun at the Fair!  Sydney did an outstanding job and she won 2nd place and 50 dollars!!  We are so proud of her.  After Sydney sang, we played games and ate yummy food.  What a blast we all had.  We will definitely be back next year.  Here are some pics of our fun adventure.......

Brotherly Love

On this particular day, I was putting the boys down for a nap in their own rooms and I then went upstairs for a brief moment.  I then found Matt to be out of his bed and in Will's bed.  I said " Matt, you need to go back in your bed.....". Will then said to me " Mom, Matt is my best buddy and we are having a sleep over for nap time today.....".  I said "oh alright "!  These 2 boys just crack me up on a daily basis.  They are really playing well together and it makes my heart want to burst!!  I LOVE it :)

Look who's in a BIG BOY BED..........

We have had some major changes around here....well for us they are major.  First, the boys did away with their pacifiers and Second, Matt was ready for a big boy bed.  We were contemplating bunk beds but decided to convert his crib into a day bed and.......he LOVES it.  Yay!!!

Here is Will resting on our couch worn out from the day with his John Deere blanket.  I made this blanket for him when I was pregnant.....I just knew he would LOVE tractors!

Bye Bye Paci's

So when Will turned the big 4, we told him that it was time to say goodbye to his paci.  We told him we would put his and Matt's paci's in a box and ship them to newborn babies.  They both agreed.  Well, that was 3 weeks ago.  I had forgotten until today when Will brought me a box for the paci's.  He said he wanted to send them to the babies tonight! I said.....okay!  So we wrapped them up and placed them in the box.  Will wanted me to write on the box so it would not get misplaced.....he is a smart kid!  So after that I gave them their bath (see below) and put them to bed.  Things kinda went bad from there.  Will decided he didn't want to part with his beloved paci.  We reassured him that he was doing a big boy thing by giving them to babies.  He eventually accepted it and fell asleep.  I just hope this will continue....no turning back now!

Bath Time

The boys were having such great fun in the tub I had to get some pictures!  Matty would pour water over Will's head then Will would squirt water at Matt by using one of the water toys!  They were cracking up at each other!  I just LOVE to hear and see the kids playing well with each other!  I pray that they will always be this close with each other!!
