Mother's Day 2011

We all celebrated Mother's Day a day early! We enjoyed a marvelous stake dinner with all the trimmings and yummy pound cake along with a cheesecake smothered in strawberries! WOW!!! It was such a great time with the family! I always enjoy our times together! Happy Mother's Day to my mommy and Tangie!!! Thank you for everything you do! We love you :)

Recital

Today, Sydney had her first choir recital. She did a great job and it was very cute to see all the kids singing. They sang about 5 songs then we had refreshments! She has enjoyed her time with the preparatory choir and is excited about auditioning for the young singers of Blair. She will be moving up into an all girls choir mixed with young and older girls. She is very excited about being with all the big girls and being challenged! This has been such a great experience and we can not wait for the next chapter! We are so excited for Sydney and so very proud!!

Puddle Jumpers

Well, today we have had A LOT of storms!!! As I am writing, there is a new tornado warning out for us.......YIKES!!! Anyways, the rain let up a few hours ago and the boys were a little stir crazy as was I. So, we decided to go outside and run off some energy. They had a ball jumping in puddles!

Field Trip to the Police Station

Today, a friend of mine (who homeschools as well) and I took the kids to our local police precinct! It was so interesting! I don't know who was more excited........the adults or kids? We all learned so much! Here are some pics from our field trip..........
